I've been using this 'How Did You Die In The Past?' app for a while now, and it's a pretty fun little distraction. It's a personality quiz and entertainment app that gives you a random, often humorous or dramatic, cause of death from a supposed past life. You just answer a few quick questions, and the app generates your 'past life demise.' It launched a few years back and is available for free download on the Google Play Store. I'm not sure about the exact number of installs, but it seems popular enough. You don't need to register an account to use it, which is great for a quick play. The app itself is free to install and use, though there are some ads that pop up. I haven't noticed any in-app purchases, so it's just the ads you have to deal with.

Using the app is super straightforward. You open it, tap to start, and go through a short series of multiple-choice questions. The questions are usually silly things about your preferences or random scenarios. The key is not to overthink your answers; just go with your gut for the most entertaining result.
