On Google Play, it has crossed over 100,000 installs, which is pretty decent for a niche app like this. It's completely free to download and install, and you don't have to register or create an account to start using it. That's one of its biggest draws. There are no in-app purchases to unlock features, but it does show some low-key, non-intrusive ads between uses.

To use Crush Love Finder, you simply open the app and point your camera at yourself or a friend. The app detects faces and overlays a digital filter that, based on your facial features, spits out a fictional "crush compatibility" score. The trick to having fun with it is to not take it seriously at all. It's designed for laughs during a hangout or a sleepover. My tip is to try it with a group of friends and compare scores—it tends to start a lot of funny conversations. There's also a small "mood" meter that changes color based on the expression you make, so smiling or winking gives you a different score bonus. It's very simple to navigate; just swipe left to switch between filters, and tap the screen to lock in a result and save the photo.
