The core site uses session and security functionality. Advertising is disabled by default in the application. This page must be updated with the final cookie names, providers and retention periods when analytics, consent management or advertising is configured.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored by a browser. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels, tags and identifiers used to remember information or measure activity. Some are set by the website you visit; others may be set by a service provider.
2. Categories we may use
Strictly necessary
These support security, load balancing, session continuity, form protection and preferences needed for a requested feature. Blocking them may prevent parts of the site from working.
Analytics and performance
Optional analytics may help us understand aggregate page usage, errors, device types and performance. These technologies should remain disabled where consent is required until a valid choice is received.
Advertising
If advertising is enabled, advertising providers may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, limit, personalize or measure ads. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use advertising cookies based on visits to ApexRaid or other websites. Google advertising choices are available through Google Ads Settings.
Functional preferences
Optional storage may remember accessibility, display, consent or quiz preferences so they do not need to be selected repeatedly.
3. Consent controls
Where required, ApexRaid will request permission before activating non-essential cookies or personalized advertising. Visitors should be able to accept, reject or adjust relevant categories with choices presented clearly and without misleading design. With Google advertising in the EEA, UK or Switzerland, the production site must use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework where required by Google.
The consent interface should disclose the ad technology providers used, their purposes and links to their privacy information. A consent choice may be stored so the message does not reappear on every page. Visitors must be given a persistent method to reopen privacy choices and withdraw consent where applicable.
4. Browser and provider controls
Browsers generally allow cookies to be viewed, blocked or deleted. Blocking all storage can affect security and functionality. Visitors can manage Google personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings and certain participating vendors through aboutads.info. A browser or provider choice does not always remove information previously collected.
5. Current cookie register
| Purpose | Type | Status |
|---|---|---|
| Application session and form security | Necessary | Used when a session or form requires it |
| Analytics | Optional | Not documented as enabled at launch |
| Google AdSense | Advertising | Disabled by default pending approval and consent setup |
6. US state opt-outs
Where applicable, the production site will display a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or equivalent control for covered US visitors. Opting out may disable personalized or targeted advertising and trigger restricted data processing where supported. This control must be connected to the actual consent or privacy-message platform before advertising launches.
7. Updates and contact
We will update this register when technologies or providers change. Privacy questions can be sent to privacy@apexraid.com. See the Privacy Policy for broader information about data use.
