You can read articles and complete public quizzes without creating an account. We use limited technical information to operate, secure and improve the site. Advertising and optional analytics must be configured consistently with this policy before they are enabled.
1. Who operates this website
ApexRaid operates apexraid.com as an educational and entertainment publication. Privacy questions and requests can be sent to privacy@apexraid.com. If a legal entity or postal address is later established for the service, this section must be updated before launch.
2. Information we may collect
Information you provide
We receive information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, correction request or other details included in correspondence. If accounts are introduced, we may also process registration, profile and authentication information.
Quiz and usage information
We may process selected answers, scores, quiz progress, viewed pages, referring pages, approximate timestamps and interactions needed to operate features or understand aggregate performance. Public quiz participation does not currently require an account.
Technical information
Servers and security systems may record an IP address, browser type, device type, requested URL, response status and similar diagnostic information. This information helps deliver pages, detect abuse, troubleshoot errors and maintain security.
3. How information is used
- Provide articles, quizzes, results and requested site functions.
- Respond to questions, feedback, privacy requests and correction reports.
- Protect ApexRaid against spam, fraud, automated abuse and security threats.
- Measure reliability and improve navigation, performance and content quality.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms of Use.
- Serve and measure advertising if advertising is enabled with appropriate notices and consent controls.
4. Cookies, analytics and advertising
ApexRaid may use essential storage for sessions, security and preferences. Optional analytics or advertising technologies may use cookies or similar identifiers after they are configured and, where required, after an appropriate consent choice. Details and controls are explained in our Cookie Policy.
Google advertising cookies
If Google AdSense is enabled on ApexRaid, third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a visitor’s previous visits to apexraid.com or other websites. Google’s use of advertising cookies enables Google and its partners to serve ads based on visits to ApexRaid and/or other sites on the internet. Cookies and similar technologies may also be used for ad delivery, frequency control, fraud prevention, reporting and measurement.
Personalized advertising choices
Visitors can opt out of personalized advertising from Google through Google Ads Settings. Visitors may also use aboutads.info choices to manage certain participating third-party vendors. Browser or device controls may provide additional choices.
Other advertising vendors
If third-party ad networks or vendors beyond Google are used, their names and privacy-policy links will be disclosed through the applicable consent interface or an updated vendor list on this website. Those vendors may use cookies for personalized advertising where legally permitted and consented. ApexRaid will not activate undisclosed advertising partners.
Google information and controls
More information about how Google uses information from partner sites is available at How Google uses information from sites or apps that use its services. Google’s general privacy practices are described in the Google Privacy Policy.
5. Regional advertising and consent choices
EEA, United Kingdom and Switzerland
Where required, visitors in these regions will be shown a consent message before cookies or local storage are used for non-essential advertising purposes and before personal data is collected, shared or used for ad personalization. When Google ads are served, ApexRaid will use a Google-certified consent management platform integrated with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework where Google requires it. The message will identify participating ad technology providers and allow relevant choices to be changed or withdrawn.
United States state privacy choices
Some US state laws provide rights to opt out of targeted advertising or activities legally defined as the sale or sharing of personal information. If applicable advertising is enabled, ApexRaid will provide a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” or equivalent privacy-choice mechanism for covered visitors and communicate supported opt-out signals to advertising partners. Google restricted data processing may be used where appropriate. Although ApexRaid does not sell personal information for money, personalized advertising can be treated as “sharing,” “targeted advertising” or a similar regulated activity under certain laws.
6. When information may be shared
Information may be handled by hosting, security, analytics, email, consent-management or advertising providers acting for their stated purposes. We may also disclose information when reasonably necessary to comply with law, protect users or the service, investigate abuse, or complete a business reorganization. ApexRaid does not sell personal information for money.
7. Retention and security
Information is retained only for as long as reasonably needed for the purpose for which it was collected, including security, recordkeeping and legal requirements. Retention periods depend on the data and service involved. We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.
8. Your choices and rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, or an opt-out from targeted advertising or legally defined sale/sharing. These rights can be subject to legal limitations. Send a request to privacy@apexraid.com and provide enough information for us to understand and verify it. You may also control cookies as described in the Cookie Policy.
9. Children’s privacy
ApexRaid is intended for a general audience and is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children below the age at which parental consent is required in their location. ApexRaid should not designate ad requests as child-directed unless the service and its audience are deliberately changed and the corresponding Google age-treatment and legal requirements are implemented. If you believe a child has provided personal information improperly, contact us so it can be reviewed.
10. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than your own. Where required, appropriate contractual or other transfer safeguards should be used. The final production provider list and transfer arrangements must be reviewed when hosting, analytics and advertising vendors are selected.
11. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when the site, providers or applicable requirements change. The effective date at the top will identify the latest version. Material changes should be communicated through an appropriate notice.
12. Contact
For privacy questions, email privacy@apexraid.com. General messages can use the details on our Contact page.
